TFC Home Opener Moved to April 15

RELEASE - Toronto FC announced Wednesday that their MLS home opener originally scheduled for Saturday, April 17 against the Philadelphia Union at BMO Field has now been moved to Thursday, April 15 with an 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff. The game will be broadcast to a national audience in the United States on ESPN2.

This will mark the first time Toronto FC will have their home opener broadcast in the U.S.

Toronto FC begins their 2010 MLS season Saturday, March 27 in Columbus to face the Crew. Philadelphia Union, Major League Soccer’s 16th team will play in the Eastern Conference and will open their inaugural season on Thursday, March 25 in Seattle.
